New Year's Eve Party

December 31st, 2008 - Jan 1st, 2009 at CAMP KINASAO on the East end of Christopher Lake

Camp Kinasao-39 km on Hwy 2 N (from Prince Albert) to Christopher Lake, go through village, turn righ on the road to Bell's Beach to the Camp Kinasao entrance sign

Cost: FREE  (a free will offering available)

Ages: All Welcome

Camp Kinasao is hosting a New Year's Eve Party. It will start at 7:00 pm on December 31st

Supper will be followed with games, singing, fireworks and fun. Don't forget the HOT TUB!

The following morning will be a self serve breakfast and potluck noon meal with skating, skiing, tobogganing,  and more games

Everyone is Welcome. Please Bring along a pot luck supper and lunch, baking, snacks, games, skis, skates, swimsuits.

If you plan on staying overnight be sure to bring your sleeping bags, pillows and towels.

Join Canadians across the country as we attempt to break the Guiness World Record for " Most Children Reading with an Adult, Multiple Locations". During the Family Literacy Day World Record Attempt, children will sit quietly and listen to an adult who will be reading five Robert Munsch stories. The readings will last a minimum of thirty minutes each. Readers and all children attending will be counted towards the total number of people for the record attempt

Be part of this exiting adventure and come down to the library for a reading. There'll be Family Literacy Day giveaways.

 

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for readings.
