Stop in at the Visitor Center, home of Prince Albert & District Tourism. Located at the South Entrance to Prince Albert on the corner of Highway #2 and Marquis Road, in the Optimist Tourist Park. WE ARE Open weekdays YEAR ROUND, and seven days a week during the summer season. You will find here all the information you’ll need to make your visit or vacation EVEN GREATER!

In addition to Visitor information(magazines and Brochures) , we provide:

* A Unique Gift Shop with work by area artisans and regional producers.
* Internet Access to check your Email.
* Convention, Wedding, Event Planning packages
* Washroom facilities.

* Parking Passes (Top Hats) & City Maps: we are happy to give out Free Parking Passes & City Maps to Visitors to the City of Prince Albert. Note: Parking passes are avaiable for up to 3 days of time, and must be shown dash side to the curb at regular, legal parking meters (that means that marked meters,ie. short term,special needs meters,etc.-these are marked meters in various colors and are not permitted for free parking, unless you carry a special permit for the special meter- wheelchair permit, for example).

*Re-location packages & information (in case you love it here so much you want to stay).
While stopping in at the Tourism Centre - Take a break, stretch your legs and tour the Optimist Tourist Park on site; we have a few picnic tables if you would like to have a snack. During the summer seasom also visit the Rotary Museum of Police & Corrections and Evolution of Education museum, also on site.These are open from 9am-6pm daily from May to September, and Admission is Free! (Both located on the Tourism park site).

Special Information for RV Service: Our site is no longer able to offer water and RV dump service, however, this service is available directly accross the street from us, courtesy of Canadian Tire. At the far West side of the Canadian Tire (store) parking lot FREE RV Service is available for dumping. Potable water is also available.

# of Visitors: In 2007 the Tourist Information Centre assisted more than 250,000 Visitors to Prince Albert & District
# of Visitors: Average tarffic volume figures for 2006 showed that nearly 30,000 VEHICLES enter the City every day - that's an average of 210,000 each week, and nearly 11 MILLION each year. (This number increased to 15 million for the year 2007). Daily Traffic figures include only those vehicles entering the city from Hwy 2 and Hwy 3 South, Hwy 3 West, Hwy 2 North, Hwy 55 and Hwy 302 East... WOW !
