Also on Thursday, November 9, at 7:00 p.m., at the J.M. Cuelenaere Public Library, the National Film Board documentary, Birth of a Family, will be playing. Three sisters and a brother, adopted as infants into separate families across North America, meet together for the first time in this deeply moving documentary by director Tasha Hubbard.
On Saturday, November 11, the Farmers' Market will be up and running at Gateway Mall. Winter Hours: 11:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays until December 16.
On Saturday, November 11, The Historical Museum will be open from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. for a Remembrance Day Ceremony and presentation. Bob Spracklin will be making a presentation about Bloody April in 1917, when the fight in the skies was very active. All are welcome!
Also on Saturday, November 11, the Prince Albert Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held at the Prince Albert Armoury. It would be advisable to be at the Armoury by 10:15 to 10:30 a.m. Click here for information about senior busing to the armoury.
From Saturday to Sunday, November 11-12, there will be a Christmas Market at Plaza 88. Saturday: 10:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday: 12:00 to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free.
